I need to do a sequence of bitmaps so the images line up. I'm trying to make my own bitmaps but it seems like no matter what I do Tool won't work with the changes I make to my Alpha channel.

A single animated image- for a reference, see the effects-particles-bitmaps section (plasma) There should be an image with 2 rows of 3 image for the plasma rifle bolt (charge c something) I think it's more of a sequence of images.
