I'm making a simple custom sky for my map.
I have 4 objects in the sky model...
A dome for the sky. A flat horizontal plane above the map but inside the sky dome for clouds. A small square plane for the moon. An open ended cylinder (tube) inside the dome at horizon level for distant mountains.
My problem is that the mountains are obscured by the sky dome even though the mountains are placed inside the dome. My moon appears to be in front of the clouds, when in fact it is outside of the sky dome.
I think this has something to do with 'regions' but don't know how to set them up. I also think it may have something to do with the settings within the chicago shaders.
If you need more info just ask, I will ofc be happy to supply. I will post some pictures very soon.
