I've been trying to get a grasp on which of my plans are possible, and which are not. The more time i spend around here, the more i realise what i can and can't do.

So, two things i currently have in question, are

A) Throwing grenades from a warthog gunner seat. The problem here is making them YOUR grenades, with an ability to switch between types.

B) Crouching while in the Passenger Seat. You're usually up higher, where as this would allow your player the additional security of sitting down.

I think for the gunner seat but im not sure you enable fire weapons. but thats a guess cant help not on my pc right now

As for the second one, couldn't it be done by modifying animations? I mean, you stand up when you throw a grenade for crying out loud. Someone should fix that...

Also, is it possible to turn the sideseat to a third person view? I think its easier than looking around first person, (it would be cool to save that exclusively for the crouching)

Okay, its like this.

You're the gunner as the warthog, and you can throw grenades.

But, the point is, it would have to be the same grenades that you would be using if you were on foot. You'd also need some way to see what type you are throwing and to change that.

I re-read what you said. The first time a read "Gunner" as "Passenger". fail. :/
