Hey guy's my first post! lol well anywhozzle, I Just Downloaded a new map (Zelda Hyrul Feild) and added it to my maps file (Yes i made sure i had the right directory when i tryed to play on it in halo) then i tryed it. i went to the halo, then start menu then went to start a server on LAN then looked for my map only to find that it wassn't here. i know other people have this problem but i did my research and found nothing. Help would be muchappreciated! Thx guys!

What directory did you put it in, exactly?

it's not a defalt directory but this is what it's in:
C:\Users\Kelly Mendez\Desktop\Nicolas\halo

Is that your install directory? If not, it goes in the MAPS folder inside your install directory. And if that was your install directory, the maps only work for Halo Custom Edition.

Did you download Halo Custom Edition? You need it to play user-created content not just the regular Halo. Looking at your directory path it looks like your trying to play on standard Halo.

Well apparently i had the wrong halo. Thx guys! uh i have another question. i saw on youtube that people had a different background in the main lobby, how do you do that? thx again

Trust me, don't download CE. It's not worth the Hard drive space.
But since you're probably going to anyway, you'd need to replace your current UI.map with something like this:

This really confused me, also isn't CE only a few MBs?
