o.o dat ist pretty.
Is that through a specific tool on UE4, or can you do that on 3DS MAX as well?

All I did in UE4 was export the rocks and terrain mesh to 3ds max. For CE you would use the lightmaps script that geta scenery in 3ds max(if there is any scenery that's supposed to affect the flow of the water).
The bitmap was made with World Machine though. Edited by Mootjuh on Jul 3, 2015 at 03:49 PM

It looks more like a long exposure of a waterfall then a real waterfall.
A cool effect, but probably could be created more efficiently in other ways, especially in UE4.

Optimization and performance is key. I'd rather stay away from fluid simulation as much as possible.

Map 2 of 10k map pack. I only rendered the outside, but there is a U-shaped tunnel within the terrain. The map is a total of 9,680 triangles.

Trying to test out the color scheme for the environment, I'm using the danger canyon texture for now. The cliffs still need to be unwrapped. -Add lighting -See how it looks in-game -Unwrap Cliffs, create ground texture, fix bugs -Test again

I found a really old SPI model from SPV2, and a helmet model from 405th and I decided to create this monstrosity. in all seriousness i'm quite happy with how it is turning out so far. just need to give it new hands and some new textures (I already unwrapped the head, not a really good unwrap but good enough that i can use it) smoothing will be fixed. inb4 outlander 2.jk maybe next year.Edited by MEGASEAN2812 on Jul 16, 2015 at 09:35 PM

From a thread POV it sorta makes out that the elite has heel thrusters. But get any closer and it looks too much of a mash up. Try changing the colours from grey to much the purple.

We will be able to enter the structure right? Those doors look really solid. Also could we have grunts pouring urine over either of the three bastions for nostalgia's sake?

I aim to make structures enterable as much as possible, but at the same time I'm no dedicated artist. This particular tower door will allow you to "teleport" to the top of the tower, where there's a hatch which allows opposite travel.
And yes, I will be implementing urine pouring over units!
