So my friend and I want to play together... we notice that we can't see each other's servers. when we check other servers, we notice we don't even see the same servers.. there are servers on my list he dosn't have, and there are servers and his list i don't have.
whats going on here? I can get people to see and join my server, just not him. |

Oh, and i recently learned that he can't make servers... but can still see them. (although not the same as mine) |

If you're using a custom UI that disables the updating checking, you may not be on the correct version. Therefore, you can't see the servers he sees, and he can't see the ones you see.

Thanks... i'm pretty sure that'll solve it.
I disabled my custom UI. It now says "checking for updates" but it dosn't do anything after that. so how will i know it downloaded the patch? |
