This topic that I created wasn't debating who should and shouldn't have faith in their projects, I was just asking if they were still around. I love how people blow things completely out of proportion.

Why does a thread like this get to 3 pages of arguing? Hasn't it served its original purpose?

Cause Dennis is offline, probably celebrating the holidays with family.

Because I sometimes find it entertaining at how little it takes for some people to show their worst attributes. People will never learn to expand their minds unless they get to see other opinions. Unfortunately it does get quite messy at times as they dump the discordant contents of their mind onto the page. If I shut down all inane discussions and ruled with an iron hand no one would learn anything. That mess is the price we pay for maybe having one or two people open their eyes.

That was posted forever ago. I haven't been in the HCE community for a while, so I decided to ask.

I'm starting to think the bigger lot of the idiots come from the veterans who let their ego go past their ass.



Forums really need to start implimenting the [sarcasm] [/sarcasm] tags.

and so, I must say H3MT is dead. HDoan sent me the tags, and they will be released on new years, after i organize them, along with maps Foundry, Narrows, Sandtrap, and The Pit.

I like how this forum is ran because it helps narrow out who is smart and mature.

Your parents are not in the forum I am and it is MY place that you are visiting. This is the thing you people forget. This is not YOUR place it is mine. I built it, I pay for it and I manage it. I just let you into it and as such you have to play by my rules and be "parented" if I so decide.

In case you are wondering this forum offers its existence solely as a contribution to the greater good, which is as I see it, is a place where young people can safely visit and learn something about the Halo CE game and maybe learn better communication skills. One of those skills is the ability to read other opinions and formulate new ideas.

Believe me, I have no doubt that many of your parents would be appalled at some of the things written or the way people treat others here. I really, really wish they would visit the forums and see how their offspring choose to communicate.

Your assertion is incorrect. If everyone followed the rules of the forum then there would never be an occasion for me to lock or delete a thread.

As for how you get treated or perceived it is not a function of the rules of the forum but how you act and respond to others. This does not mean you have to agree with everyone, but when you disagree you have to do so in a polite and direct way by explaining your oposing opinion so as clarify why you disagree.

I'll come back when it's year 2019. Mabye we'll have spv2 then.

You are misinterpreting the rules of the forum. Not all infractions result in a ban; Most don't. The fact that you are still here is the example you are insolent, childish and many times thoughtlessly mean but you have not yet broken a cardinal rule that would get you banned.

this forum is kinda like the cops. if you do somthing a lil bad they slap your wrists and give you a ticket (locked) . if you do somthing real bad you go to jail (banning).

not at all!! in this forum, if one person does something bad, no matter what the severity, the offender doesnt get punished, everyone does.

that would be like.. you steal from the local grocery store, leave your name and home address for the cops, and the cops decide it would be more effective to close the store(lock thread) than put you in jail(ban)!
