Hey I was just thinking about a new sP. ok weve had regular shoot and kill, firefight, and survival but have we had an Assassin SP? i looked and we havent. and was thinking that would make a great SP. you play as one of the best ODST snipers and your mission is to go around killing the high up Covenet. the level would have like 5 assassinations to do. You would get your info from a cutscene from a person telling you what your target looks like what he'll be doing and when u can take him out. One of the major rules is your gun only holds one clip so if you miss or get spotted by the guards you will most likely die unless u can do some major mele skills. Some Assassin tips could be on rooftop snipings or some could even be in a car chase where your in the side seat and have to take out a target. I would make this but i suck at scripting So does anyone wanna give a crack at it?

i can do the scripting. But that's it. since now that Ive finished school, I can concentrate on my private project. But someone else has to populate. Tag (wont really be necessary, could just use the classic tags, and have the starting profile have more/less ammo.)

No, if it's a sniping/assassination mission, you'll only get, and only need, one round. If they thought you could miss, they wouldn't hire you for the mission. Nothing else matters besides the target, and only the target.
But of course you could carry a sidearm. Have you watched The Babysitter yet? Halo Legends? Just like that.

What about guards that need to be eliminated from afar before killing the primary target? Sure, they would only hire you if they thought you would hit him the first time, but it makes no sense to purposely underprepare for a mission.

If you're a good shot, you'll look for the (almost, hey, nothing is perfect) perfect sniping place, time to shoot, and even the angle. And besides, that's why you'd want to carry a sidearm. Take a look at what I just mentioned, when O'Brian shot the prophet, there were that much guards.

like i said slayer. Id be happy to help. I will script the map for you. But i wont populate. That's mainly because I have other projects to work on and populating takes time. Whereas scripting is less time consuming and I can type fast, so that help on my benefit. Ill add you on xfire but if you don't see me sign in for the next week or so, blame my younger brother. He thinks we have unlimited bandwidth. But we only have 12GB. Plus if you use xbox live 1 hour a day. (well 2 hrs, my brother and I use 1 hr each), the bandwidth sometimes gets close to the limit. So im kinda capped atm. Will add you asap though. :)

Aight. I'll make an assassination mission for spec4 after I finish spec3, which is centered around turning off life support and watching your enemies die miserably :P

If you have two targets, you're stupid to just carry one bullet, provided that you'll be sniping from afar. But didn't I say you just needed one round and not that you shouldn't carry an entire clip? What fool would remove every other bullet in one clip save for one or manually put a round in an empty magazine?
