I modeled some 3D stairs for the project for Ryan. C Designs and am wondering, does anyone think that will be too taxing on the engine with all the extra planes. I still plan to try it. but I just want an opinion for the final release.

It shouldn't be too taxing, but it'd be more effective to use a ramp.

Perhaps. I jus like the feel of the stairs in gameplay. Having a little bounce to them you know. I think it makes it interesting and pretty realistic. Don't get me wrong, there will be some ramps too. I was planning to incorporate both.

Stairs work great In BloodCreek RC3 we have stairs and they function properly. only thing is you need an ivisable ramp plane. cause chief would have to jump to get to the next step if you didnt.

^that andif you want "bumpiness" you might have to use several planes and vary each as you go up
