Well, I wouldn't have a problem with it at all. But the- IT WILL OVERTHROW HALOMAPS pissed me off.

remember Halocemaps.net?

Was that the site I made when I was 15, stupid, and sensitive? When I just wanted to have fun on halo and I couldn't here because I was getting flamed. Yea, I remember that site. Scrand.

Yes unlimited hosting space, and unlimited bandwidth

That's usually a gimmick. Read the fine print. There is no such thing as "unlimited storage space" and "unlimited bandwidth."

I once had a webhosting business with my 24 year old cousin, even though the control panel said "unlimited" for both bandwidth and storage space, under a fine print it said it was really limited to a few terabytes. Sadly, that business perished cause he couldn't pay the bills.

I'm not sure bandwidth, but storage in fine print is 175 TB, which is way more than needed, HM has 47 TB of content. I can't imagine anything that would take up 175 TB

That's the monthly Halomaps bandwidth.

Which isn't unlimited. Just a lot.
I'm sure that as you continue using more of that space, that $90 is going to increase.
$90 is just too good to be true for this.

Besides, where are you getting $90 a month to run this anyway?
I'm sure there is more fine print around there somewhere.

His site will fail due to his poor administration abilities.
He doesn't need you explaining what he is doing wrong along the way.
Just let it die on its own.

Lol Scott your half the reason my old site failed.

You made me have a bad reputation in the first place, before when I was any other member, no one standing above the crowd, you drove everybody away with a negative comment on EVERY post....

No one likes a negative person. ha

$90 in a year isn't hard.

Ever thought I wasn't a 10 year kid? Ever thought I had a job? No, I didn't think so.

I can make $90 in a week no problem.

(ATTN: If you say your job can make you 5x as much in a week, idgaf, im not bragging)

Were not saying anything like that. were saying the dude is wasting his money for nothing. we already have a halo ce maps site why should there be 2? Why would you waste your money on somthing thats been done. I'd sugest using your site for somthing else.

ITS NOT MY FAULT MY SITE FAILED, ITS SOMEONE ELSES. if it was your site, why couldnt you ban scott if he was ruining your site?

and a general fyi, you alone ruined/are ruining your reputation, not anyone else. dont blame your faults on somebody else when you could clearly have done something about it. if you seriously cannot control one person on your site then scott is right. it would be a lack of administration skills.

Ever thought I wasn't a 10 year kid? Ever thought I had a job? No, I didn't think so.

i considered the possibility of you being old enough to have a job, but then i remembered that your leading reason for making that site was to overthrow halomaps because dennis offended you. this is not something a mature and stable minded person does.
so in short,

Why give some guy crap because he wants to setup a new website. I do not understand.

It could easily become popular if some people weren't to arrogant to join. Thats how forums become popular and successful. When they have members... If you don't like something, then ask iHalo to change it...

No reason not to join...

*sigh* This is getting out of hand.

People, if you don't wanna check out his site, DON'T. It's great to see another Halo Maps download site, there aren't many out there. For all you people that might flame me, I don't care. If this site ends up going down, i'll go to iHalo. If it doesn't, i'll stay here. How about we be grateful for someone to actually bother to make a site like this for people like us?

I would suggest removing the big red text in your 1st post, its annoying and provocative.
Its all in how you word things.

All i have to say is that i am happy with HaloMaps and don't need another site. I don't want to start a fight but you "iHalo" went about it all wrong. You were way too forceful, that is what turned me away from even clicking on the link to your website. For future reference you may want to change your attitude towards younger lads. I am 20 and i still think you were forceful. As for the the rest of this community, i was not surprised by your reaction to this.
