no, I do not have a link to a new device download, but I have instructions on how to get it to work with 1.09, took me all day to figure this out, so here I go:

1. download Halo Custom Edition patch 1.09: http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=4987

2. download E3po's devmode 1.09: http://www.wmclan.net/Devmode.php

3. download the Halo CE Version Converter and place the strings.dll in your Halo CE root directory: http://www.modacity.net/forums/showthread.php?t=11412

4. download Skys the Limit program: http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=4049

5. boot up custom edition

6. go on multiplayer and join a bloodgulch server NOTE: I CAN NOT GET IT TO WORK WITH ANY OTHER MAP EXCEPT BLOODGULCH AT THE MOMENT, POST IF YOU CAN!

7. while inside the server, using E3P0's devmode, type in console "version 1.08" or 1.08ce

8. minimize the game and close E3PO's devmode

9. while minimized, Open Sky's the limit, and check the boxes "console" and "devmode"

10. go into the game and hold down the buttons for FOV, INSERT and DELETE

11. HAVE FUN!

WARNING: OCCASIONALLY WHEN RESPAWNING OR EXITING THE VEHICLE, YOUR VIEW WILL BE LITERALLY INSIDE THE HELMET, EVEN THOUGH THIS IS COOL, THE 3RD PERSON VIEW IN SKY'S THE LIMIT WILL NOT WORK, SO THE ONLY WAY TO RESET IT IS TO RESTART HALO CE!

The problem is you're still playing on the 1.09 executable so the addresses still don't match. Download the 1.07 patch and run it with console enabled, continue at step 3.

Your doing it wrong, your supposed to be using the 1.08 exe and then change the version to 1.09.

if you use 1.07 you can't play on new servers, and that is a problem when you like to play Multiplayer, so if you LIKE multiplayer, do ALL the steps, I WOULD agree with chris, but version changer only goes to 1.08, not 09, so please don't post about the version, go try it before you post for heaven sake!

Version changer was updated to work with 1.09.
