is there such a command that allows you to spawn ai allies and have them follow you?

Yes there is actually. It just needs to be pre-built into the map. You can not however go to any map and spawn the AI but if they are put there by the map's developer then you can. I can't pull the command right off the top of my head right now. Maybe someone else can. ai_place maybe.

I was just wondering if there is one cuz i was gonna try and get ai to spawn and follow meh, like will it work on SP maps where ai are there?

AI following is much more complicated than just using (ai_follow_target_players. What you're attempting to do most likely won't work, without special setup beforehand.

true. ai following in fact requires that you meddle with their firing positions, which can take quite a long time. There is a tut somewhere in Halomaps that does teach you how to do so. i will post a link as soon as i get home.
