Made a water bitmap of 256 x 256 in PS (just a flat white color)
then, I made the shader for it, with 4 ripples, then I saved it, ofc..
When I looked in-game there was a hole in it -.-

I made the bitmap 3 timees just to be sure it's the right bitmap, no changes..

then.. I lowered the plane a few times in max, or moved it up, no changes..

Please tell me what's wrong xD

i've never done it this way, always a texture with alpha but i'm guessing its not the bitmap but something in the shader you didn't do right.

there's a tut on here for setting up the water shader..if you're already following it go back and make the shader again.

also, be sure that when you make changes to the shader or the bitmap that you re-export the jms and re-run tool bitmaps (for changes to bitmap) and tool structure otherwise the changes wont take

What's the name of your water shader? I know there's one from the Silent Cartographer level named water.shader_transparent_water, which has a hole the shape of the island in the center. Your gap looks rather like the shape of the island. Maybe that shader is for some reason being used if your shader is named the same thing. I'm not sure if this helps, but good luck!

ghost_station_water.shader_transparent_water

thing is, in 3ds max I just called my water: water!$, but you can't call it different..

Well, atleast, I guess.. maby.. ghost_station_water!$

???

No, since you named it water!$ in 3ds, it is using the Silent Cartographer water shader. In 3ds max, try naming it ghost_station_water!$, and then re-export it.

OK.. It worked.. I just called the geometry water, not the material too.. It had to be ghost_station_water
