(sleep_until (= (ai_living_count *encounter name*) 0) 15)
(show_hud_help_text true)
(hud_set_help_text obj4)
(hud_set_objective_text obj4)
(sleep 150)
(show_hud_help_text false)

this is my script, but rather than wait for all the AI to die, I want it to display a HUD message when the AI encounter is created. But, I don't know how many AI there is, because I have the AI spawn through another script.

Just make it display after you put the (ai_place command :|
