I shoot my assault rifle and the bullet comes out from farther to the right, not where it should be coming from. Same goes for most other weapons.

i dont think its the weapon offset. i switched the biped file so that im playing as my halo 3 mark VI and it makes every gun fire from a spot further right and a tiny bit down. i know its not a problem with the gun because im using the normal halo 1 guns. ive been trying to fix this, if i find a solution il let you know.

No, as a matter of fact, it is in the weapon tag.

This is for first person firing. Third person is different.

My firing offset has never been changed. And it is the normal assault rifle.

Check "projectiles use weapon origin". If that doesn't work, then modify the firing offset until it does work.

I tried checking the projectiles use weapon origin, but it didn't work. I'm guess its not working because I changed fp hands?

projectiles use weapon origin could just screw it up more...im pretty sure thats the reason bungie made it shoot from the cheifs face in the first place... is there anything else in the biped file that has to do with offsets ??

Yea, the checkbox didn't work for me either when tagging a sentinel beam. That's why I modified the firing offset. x moves forward, z moves up, y moves left. Negative values move in the opposite direction.

i understand but that seems unessecary cuz then when i switch my biped back to the orriginal il have to either have made copies of all the weapon tags with adjusted offsets or il have to change them all back.

And if you change back, does the projectile come out from the correct location?
