Story: while the great schism takes place. a canyon occupied by the covenant somewhere on delta halo has been recaptured by the elites from the brutes. led by the arbiter and Rtas 'Vadum with the help of some grunts and jackhals that betrayed the brutes. the map takes place on Schwinnz snowtorn cove. the humans must capture this canyon. a second sacred icon is under this canyon. and the humans must get it before the covenant separists know about this key. since the humans still expect them to activate halo. 3 squads containing spartans and odst's are sent to capture the left side the right and the center of the canyon. You play as spartan.your objective is to reinforce the center together with the right side. since the center is the most concentrated area of the covenant. but the flood is in this canyon to but perseud to the bases by the covenant separists. thats where you come in and clear the base and barricade it. Objectives(havent added them yet in game): Defend yourself from the flood Take over the bridge this isnt the whole level. its a part of it. final version will be the whole level and much longer. Feel free to give criticism and report bugs. link: http://www.filefront.com/14835125/snowt_infs_bta.rarGredits: arteen and schwinz for the bsp Hdoan: h2 bipeds onoxtic:cod4 fp arms and odst biped. ce ripper: plasma rifle zteam: Br joshflighter advancebo: odst smg Edited by FLASH on Oct 31, 2009 at 07:16 PM

I love the background music. Fits very well! Good ambiance feel. Ok finished the beta. Not enough health pack as stated why is that snowman there? The turret wasnt that useful, replace it with something more powerful or...? It was also placed too close to the edge, fell to my death several times already... -Camera movement clipped through walls -Scenery placement was awkward -Spartans had "jerky" movement -Dancing snowman was awkward D: -Ultra grunt and elite part was weird. Why were there no other troops? People don't just leave one ultra grunt and one ultra elite alone... -The AI enemies running around the curve in "Bigger than Expected" were obviously using command lists. I hid behind a rock, shooting at them, and they ran past me. -Too little health packs

Quote: --- Original message by: Gamma927 -Camera movement clipped through walls i know. this only happend once. i wil fix it in the final version -Scenery placement was awkward if you mean the rocks under the bridge yes they are. they are there to block you from going into a death barrier(wich i havent added yet) -Spartans had "jerky" movement i think you mean the part when you need to defend the bridge. dont worry that turret wont be there in final version. so the spartan wont be stuck there. -Dancing snowman was awkward D: forgot to remove that. shouldnt be there -Ultra grunt and elite part was weird. Why were there no other troops? People don't just leave one ultra grunt and one ultra elite alone... they wherent realy alone atleast the grunts. they just came in a bit later. ive seen it happen many times in the campaign. -The AI enemies running around the curve in "Bigger than Expected" were obviously using command lists. I hid behind a rock, shooting at them, and they ran past me. i gave them command lists because i made the ai so. that if most of them get kild they wil retreat. if i didnt give them command lists the ai wil still head for the bridge since they go where the player is. but without command lists there wil be a few cowards between them(mostly 2 or 3 grunts). in the final vers they wont have command lists since you wont need to kill them all . i will be using dropships anyway -Too little health packs my bad. forgot to add them. will be there including some ammo for smg and other stuff.

No, I mean the spartan's head like glitches side to side, without any apparent turning. -Ultra grunt and elite part was weird. Why were there no other troops? People don't just leave one ultra grunt and one ultra elite alone... they wherent realy alone atleast the grunts. they just came in a bit later. ive seen it happen many times in the campaign. But seriously, just one grunt and one elite? At least add more than one ultra grunt or something. It's not like the elite and grunt are buddies. -The AI enemies running around the curve in "Bigger than Expected" were obviously using command lists. I hid behind a rock, shooting at them, and they ran past me. i gave them command lists because i made the ai so. that if most of them get kild they wil retreat. if i didnt give them command lists the ai wil still head for the bridge since they go where the player is. but without command lists there wil be a few cowards between them(mostly 2 or 3 grunts). in the final vers they wont have command lists since you wont need to kill them all . i will be using dropships anyway No, if you put all the firing positions in the tunnel and on the bridge, they won't be able to run very far. AI_magically_see_players also automatically makes them seek you out.

Considering that you can walk right through it, I'd say there's no collision.

I shot at him for like 2 seconds to see if he died then left. But now that makes perfect sense. It would be cooler if he was AI though and you could kill him.
