Ok, i open up sapien, go into the hierarchy view window, go into objects/units/vehicles, then i click on edit types on the top of the hierarchy menu, click add, find the vehicles i want to add, i click "add tag(s)" and this shows up. "Not all selected tags could be added to the palette: You selected one or more files that couldn't be loaded correctly. Contact your nearest bungie programmer for assistance.

What is this? It always pops up when i try to load pretty much anything. Help please =)

I take it these aren't stock vehicles....

#1 open globals.globals and make sure you added the custom vehicles properly

#2 open up the vehicle tags and fix any missing tags (red stuff)

#3 post debug

first, you don't need to open globals.globals quite yet. but post the last paragraph of debug.txt here, and we can tell you what's wrong.

You aren't putting the tags in the correct directory. The "creep" folder should be in the tags\h2\vehicles folder.

Edit: wait, so i put the h2 folder in the vehicle tags folder? or in the tags folder? (btw, this error even happens when i try to open actor vars, does that mean they are in the wrong folder also?)

h2 folder goes in tags folder. And for actor variants, they're either in the wrong folder, or you're missing necessary tags.

Save the scenario, and compile the scenario in tool.

Copy the command prompt, aka cmd.exe. It's located in C:/Windows/System32/ Find it, copy it, and paste it into your Halo Custom Edition folder. Then, run it. Then, type into it:
tool build-cache-file "directory"

Replace "directory" with your directory of the scenario file, starting from tags, but not including tags. So if my scenario was bloodgulchmod.scenario inside tags\levels\test\bloodgulch, I'd type:

tool build-cache-file levels\test\bloodgulch\bloodgulchmod

if your scenario is called Test map with a space in it, then use "Test map"
The space in name requires the use of " "

You don't type tool build_cache_file. You type: tool build-cache-file
And yes, do what Maniac said above. Put it around the levels\test\tutorial\test map, so you type:

tool build-cache-file "levels\test\tutorial\test map"

if you ran tool as admin, then it should be in the maps folder (not the maps folder in your tags folder). If you did not run tool as admin, then it probably wouldn't appear in windows, but if you run halo you should see your map in the map list.
