I was making a self-illumination propertys in a shader_enviroment for this longsword to make it look like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ao6A2UJzpjg

and i make illum maps appropriate for it to work.
here's what i entered:

It dosen't seem to be illuminating and I don't think cosine is appropriate for blinking.

please help.

I'm using a shader environment because it's the only shader with 3 different illumination options.

Well you should be using chicago_shader_environment.
