Alright, if you look in certain cutscenes, Master Chief is hold his AR at his side with one hand. How would I use those animations instead of the regular old holding the weapon up animations?

It's a custom animation. Use a script that plays the custom animation. However, the whole chief will be moved by that, and the player won't have any control over what the chief does.

Why not just make your own? AR idle animation, then inject it.

well, all it really is is MC's unarmed anims, but with a gun attached.

Then do that. Make MC always walk, always unarmed, and attach a gun to his hand.
