I start up Halo CE, and i get this message: I got this error before, and it was caused by IE8. Some other things stopped working and I decided to uninstall IE8 and reinstall IE7. Everything went fine, and Halo started working again. But now, it gave me this error again, anyone know how to fix it?

Nope, the security update from IE8 did though, that's why i removed IE8.

close other background programs that you don't need, and run Halo as admin if you are vista user. also, check task manager and see if there is another Halo related process running. If so, close it.
does this still happen?

Even a clean boot didn't work, I tried reinstalling everything, but Halo just keeps giving me the error.
