anyway, a little more description would be nice, although I know you like to use few words

I can't help much, although with a little more DESCRIPTION, I might be able to help

i need a map with three jets like coldsnap at each base. in the middle is a place were a leader can stand and adress a crowd and place for them to sit i would like the seats to let the actully sit lik on blood creek rc2

Read the tutorials and try and make a map your self, it is not hard...

No I don't make maps. What I do do is tell the pea brained people who harrass, insult, or tell people who make requests to do it themselves that they should learn manners or at a minimum follow the rules of the forum and keep their mouths shut unless they are going to honor the request.

i am asking becouse all my map tools shut down before i start and i need a good map making tool or a really bright person to do this for me

I can help you twitch. I'm bored. what kind o map bro. I'll say this before all the mouths hit . im not the greatest map maker.. i can get you started easy . no one here ever helped me thats why my maps are not that good, but you figure it out after awhile and learn to ignore the people who just crticize.

I have 2 doctors apt this morning but will be home hopefully by 3:00pm just give me a short version of what you want. what map? is this an ai if so wich ai? if you would like me to make you a custom map let me know what textures or send me samples and i'll make the bitmaps and shaders k. cool bro

I'll start on a map this eve. should have it in the works so xfire me or keep up thru this thread. I'll take screen shots as we go thru it. Same thing as coldsnap? bases in the cliffs or outside? leader area. Do you want this raised above the lower level ( a higher hill to view the lower areas ) if so how high. The rest I think I can get Unless you throw something different at me.
-I have the nc cyborg and the c-jets. Are the c-jets hugeass or coldsnap can't remember?
-If not will need the tags for the jets.
-Not familiar with the sitting thing can, someone help with that?

Only to those with a guilty conscience or those who have failed once again to abide by the rules of conduct of the forum.

I personally think you should start laying down more bans to people who repeatedly disobey the rules, it would really clean up the joint. Otherwise, if they don't receive any punishment for disobeying, they'll see no reason to stop. But that's just my opinion, and I ain't the moderator.

this is just an observation, but we have a thread thats supposed to tell people to do it themselves, yet posting a link to that thread is a violation of the "respect people who make requests" thread. this confuses me. are we not supposed to point the "before you ask how to make maps" thread out?

People do tend to no read the stickies and make stupid thread all of the time, nor do they use the search function, isnt there something in the rules asking/telling people to read the stickies first?

... yes thats my point. a link was posted to that stickied thread with all of the map making information in it, but posting that link is saying "do it yourself" which is outlawed by another stickied thread. its something i just noticed and im looking for clarification on it

People can either make it themselves if they want to or make requests. As it says in the "You will not abuse" thread: "If you don’t want the help them then remain silent and do not post." So to answer your question, I'm willing to bet pointing people to that thread in a sarcastic manner would be considered abuse.

If they want the map bad enough and don't get their request filled, they'll attempt to make it themselves, in which case they will find use of the resource thread.

twitch what is the problem with your sapien and guerilla I mean what exactly does it do when it each program fails? Have you tried to reinstall them? break it down maybe we can help you get it running agian.

Suggesting that thread isn't abuse, because they may have not considered it.

Read the entire rule. It says either do the request or remain silent. If you are not going to actually do the request there is no reason for you to post to tell them where to find the information unless they ask specifically.

If you remain silent no one gets abused, no flame wars start and the poster realizes that no one will do it for him so he either persists or figures out how to do it himself.

Rocket science this isn’t.

finished the map. You now have a map to work with. You got the pics right? just have to populate it. Reinstall the hek tools and learn how to use them. They have every tutorial you can think of. I'll help all I can but truley the greatest experience is doing it yourself. If you look at the rules, everything and all you need are right here.
