For some reason, my xfire ingame doesn't come up for Halo PC or CE. In Game works for CoD4 and CS:S, so does anyone know what I can do to fix this?

Are you running Halo as admin? If you are that's the problem. Are the games installed to the normal folder? Is Xfire set to never detect them? Check your games tab on options.

-Not running as admin -Changed folder of Halo a little while back to C:\Halo Custom Edition from C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition, so that might be it.

You must have the exes named Halo.exe and Haloce.exe. It also doesn't work with that bloom effect hack thingy. Also, one thing that it might be is your registry might have an incorrect exe path, so go to start, run, regedt32, press enter. Then go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, software, microsoft, microsoft games, Halo Custom Edition, and make sure the exe path is set to your actual exe path. To change it, right click, modify, and change it in that window. Don't mess around too much in the Registry Editor. Just Don't. Edit again, I don't know if that is the problem because xfire ingame works with audiosurf and mine has a completely messed up directory, and it seems to recognize it anyway. If it's pirated most of the time it won't work. If it's not, you can just go to options -> games tab then click "not installed games" and then just click ok. It should work then.

I just moved back the folder, and Xfire recognized it. It's fixed.

I was right >:D In xfire_games.ini, there is a line under haloce that is LauncherDirKey=HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Halo CE\EXE Path which checks the registry for the installation path.
