I am going to make a long machinima with the same kinda plot as district 9. It sounds retarded and cheap but I always thought it would be cool to make. I need a tiny bit of help with simple things. Such as scripts to trigger pelicans to play an animation, and so on. MAYBE bipeds.

The end result of this should be interesting. I just read the synopsis earlier today, and it sounds like a good movie. Since this movie was spawned by the death of the Halo movie, why not take the story back to it's roots?

You should switch it around so it kinda stays in Halo's time line. Make it so the Covenant took a bunch of people to experiment the flood on, to see what their weaknesses and strengths are. You could even use the prison cell in the Covenant ship in the SP too. I've always wanted to make a Machinima based off of that idea.

The movie is terrible maybe you can make it better, haha. Start here decide who the character is we should care about; then tell they're story! The writers missed that concept when telling the story.

What the hell? That's not even canon and the entire statement contradicted itself.

Halo Custom Edition breaks canon in so many ways. Who cares.

Hell, SPv2 even breaks canon a lot, but nobody complains about that.

No, no no no no no. He said during the Halo timeline. My response was to Nexus. The Covenant didn't test the Flood on humans. EVER. There are somethings that are custom, but if the story line is suggested to be actually on the timeline, then maybe it should be canon.

I say, if it is fun, who the hell cares about canon.

It's a machinima. You can enjoy watching machinimas, but I don't know about their fun factor.

I like this idea, and I loved District 9. Though, I have to ask this. Do you actually have a script written at all yet? I can't see any sort of large machinima production come together without a decent script behind it.

And The Covenant were held captive on Earth in the Halo Timeline? I think mine is closer anyway.

You know he doesn't have to follow the games storyline... He could just make his own part of it for fun and to make it work with the plot of the film.
