when i try to mod b40 or compile it as a map this happens

Backup your tags. Delete your tags folder. Uninstall HEK. Reinstall HEK. Recursively extract b40.

scorpion tags have nothing to do with it, the map has some type of bungie protection on it...........

No, see. If you extract the map using HEK+, and overwrite the tags, your scorpion tags will become corrupted.

ERROR: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION
SOLUTION: You're being denied access to the SP maps. Back up your tag set and reinstall HEK. Then use HEK+ to **Recursively** extract the SP map. After that, replace your scorpion tags with the one on the site. |
