well i finnaly fixed my battle rifle thing but it has infinite ammo. for some reason. what do i need to change to fix it?

what do you mean by your br has infinite ammo? Like when you reload, the amount of reserve ammo never drops? Or your ammo in present clip never drops?

anyway, open your .weapon tag of your BR, go to the "magazines" section, and make sure your rounds total initial, rounds total maximum, rounds loaded maximum and rounds reloaded isn't some crazy number like 0 or 9999999999.
Also, under the "triggers" section, in the "firing" section, make sure your rounds per second and rounds per shot isn't 0.
In the same section, under "projectile", projectiles per shot should not be 0.
Same section, "firing effects" subsection, shot count lower bounds and upper bounds should be non-zero.



This is just about all i can think of to solve this problem.
Also, pls post such topics in the Halo CE Technical section.

do you happen to have any kind of Halo CE trainer/dev mode on at the time?
if so, you may have accidentally activated the limitless ammo cheat, and that may be the cause of the problem.

if this isn't the case, then your BR might be corrupted somewhere, and you would have to redo it.

otherwise, i am out of ideas.

uhmm did you like change the br to use NONE magazine where it should be using PRIMARY magazine? post a picture of your weapon tag and scroll near the bottom if you may
