Hi there. I tried just about what is in the halomaps troubleshooting topic for this, and i can't see the chat area, nor the words i type out. All i can see is the typing box, and even so, i can't see the stuff i type out on it.

i tried all of this.
1. reinstalling msxmlenu.msi (the Microsoft XML Parser) using the Halo disk i had. Problem remained.

2. registering msxml4.dll (the XML dll file). I got an error message as follows:
The module msxml4.dll was loaded but the call to DllRegisterServer failed with error code 0x80070005.
For more information about this problem, search online using the error code as a search term.
i did just that, and nothing about my problem came up.

3. Install the latest update for Halo CE. I already have the update.

4. create new user account. It says its for XP, so it doesn't apply to me, because i use vista.

i also have the latest update for my gfx driver, and my comp.
pls help, thx.

theres a fix somewhere, I had it too.. on my craptop, it's something with a windows componement

(you need to put both in your halo custom edition root,
when it asks to overwrite, press yes

um.....aren't those for windows XP?
i am using vista.

also, i tried the links above, they didn't give me anything to do with the two files.
