ok, well im trying to scale some points, but the scale tools triangle selector doesnt show up, thus i cant select which way to move it...

its called a gizmo.
i think its view/show transform gizmo. dont remember the keyboard shortcut (which you accidentally pressed) |

Well, i looked in the hotkey map and didnt see it. in Preferences > Gizmos i didnt see any...

dang. well, it was still checked, i cycled it on/off, didnt work. getting offline soon, hopefully it will fix it self at restart...
