OK, so I've gotten HaloCE from a friend that told me it was a pretty good game. In the last year, I have been killed by some dude named "Guardians" who was never on the Player list. I thought it was just some admin or something cuz I said something stupid. Anyways, I was playing with a few guys on cmt_tensity and someone shouts out I have an aimbot. I ask him what it is and he jusay says its a "hack". I'm like how do I disable it, but everyone called me a Peace Hacker and left. I've googled around what an aimbot is... Is there a correlation between aimbot and "Guardians". How do I disable it... I sure don;'t want ppl pissedo off at me for cheating.

er... ok dude, ima clear stuff up for ya, gaurdians are the ai's on the map that fight u, there not actual ppl, just bots like in single player

and aimbot, if im correct, is a program/cheat/trainer what ever that dose the aiming for you, which means it will aim ur gun for u, but only noobs use it, and expect to get banned alot for usin it, the only way to disable it is by not using a cheat program.

then whats the cheat program....

idk wth am i using... and why did guardians appear only twice and out of nowhere just to kill me...

Being killed by the "Guardians" isn't just with AI. Sometimes when your killed the game doesn't know how it happened so it will say "You were killed by the Guardians." They do the same thing in Halo 2 and 3. Go onto Youtube and search Halo killed by the Guardians and you'll find many videos of people being killed by them. Only in Halo CE when your killed by an AI in a multiplayer map it says you were killed by them Guardians or in Halo 3 when the AI turrets kill you.

Guardians are the map's excuse for a death to a player (you, in this case) that the map cannot explain. Say, if you are killed by an AI, or an object in the map, it will say, "namehere has been killed by the Guardians."

An aimbot is a program downloaded off the net that allows you to essentially 'hack' or cheat at the game. It automatically makes your character aim at another player's head. It is not only illegal to use, but also bad on your rep.

If you were not cheating, and I assume you weren't since you seem clueless as to how, then the people were probably bad and didn't like that you were better than them, so without SightJacking (I'll tell you about this next) you, they just went ahead and assumed.

The reason why they said "Peace Hacker" is because they were saying goodbye. Hence the reason why they left. Peace can be used as another word for goodbye in many cultures, and they were saying "Goodbye, Hacker." to you.

As I had told you earlier, they didn't bother to use SightJacker on you. SightJacker is a tool that many people use in order to tell if somebody is botting(using an aimbot). This is probably the most sure-fire way to detect if somebody is actually using an aimbot, although normally you can tell by the accused player's movements. They will often jolt their heads around, and act as if possessed. The reason why this can be considered a bad way of telling, is because some people have lag, which is gained from having an exceptionally high ping. It's caused by either bad internet connection on their side, or the server being hosted too far away from their location to send information quickly.

Also, do NOT promote versions of HaloCE you got off the net. The only place you should talk about it is when you A. got it off a certified Microsoft, Bungie, or Gearbox website, or got it off of this website. If you got it anywhere else, often times it is a pirated copy, which means it is not paid for, and illegal to posses. Halo: Custom Edition is an expansion for Halo: Combat Evolved. You can get Halo: Combat Evolved for $20 at your local Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Target, and many other stores. If you cannot find it there, I suggest buying it off of amazon.com or ebay.com.

It could be your graphics card. I suggest going into the video settings and turning decals off.

Why you confuse the poor kid .... obviously his main concern was getting banned no one cares about dieing from the guardians... it just because when you die the computer cant assess how it possible so if it wasn't from a vehicle or player it was from an ai or something else the that when you died the game said huh!?

As the fact that you don't even know what a bot is or how to use one you don't have one... once again noobs all over the place will call anyone a bot because you kill them before they kill you. so just calm down if you have an "illegal" version of halo getting the legit version wont do anything different it the same game nothing will change other than you have a legit cd key and not running a crack. You probably don't know what a crack is either but i tnot something worth explaining it just a simple .exe file that runs halo without a cd I just realized Halo update 1.08 kinda turns halo.exe into a legit no cd crack lolz.
