I've been using IG-Zombies for a while and after modding the sapp.dll, I got it to work on 1.09 but I can't get the Game Variant Handling to work. I have a GameType called Infection specifically built for Zombies but when a new game starts up, it doesn't load up the Infection.tbf in the GameVariants folder. What could be wrong? I'm trying to make it so I alternate between a Zombie GameType and than a normal CTF.

So, I love HaloCE. I love it for a lot of reasons and one of them is CUSTOM MAPS. I shall never get bored. Yo Yo Rast Island, Zanzibar Classic, Cold Snap, Delta Ruins, CMT Fragment, CMT Tensity, etc all awesome maps. My friend suggested to me to try out Coagulation and Wartorn Cove. Now I download maps because they seem awesome and also people play on them. If people don't play on them, then what's the point right? Here's the problem, there are too many variations of these two maps and I want the one that is awesoem and a lot of ppl play on. Hmm... Interesting views.. Well, I'm not going to lie. I am not going to cash out and pay for a server. Also, my internet connection does suck. I realize that ping is the one thing that keeps ppl from their true potential. Me always hosting a game, it took me until I joined my friends server to realize how much it sucks on the other side. But I'll find away, enough of that. I have a board (perhaps too overdone..) running and a chat room. I'll make a dedi and I won't join because (a) I can't join (b) It will probably cause lag and slow my pc (c) I'm not spending another 4 hours trying to fix this. But so far, I've kept it on for 5 hours and no-one joined. Clearly there is a problem. If anyone would like to test it out, grab Version Changer and its called ~!nubs4life!~ Dedicated. I'll keep it running. Now, finding clan members is a bit tricky. Took me an hour to find one member. Tried to talk to them on the halo chat, but (s)he didn't respond and by the time they realize I was tryign to ask for contact info, I lost the connection. Anywho, that's pretty much sums up my experience... Oh and thnx for all you guys' help, especially you Scott. I don't leave people unthanked. EDIT: ... Ok, the server commands were easy to pick up and I could make a dedicated server. But it seems that I can't join it and some of my members can't either. I've disabled my firewall (ESET) and logged into my gaming router, but nothing. I'm probably not supposed to join, but my friends can't either. Anyway my friends can join and so can I? Btw, is there a way to kick people with ping in the 600s? Like I want to find a database of commands for dedicated servers so I can use them accordingly. Like one for a server message, etc.. etc.. Clans seem to have an informal structure in Halo CE and I was wondering if there was any place I could go to get my newly started clan heard. You know clans, clan wars, clan talk on halo ce, etc... I have 6 members including me, maybe 7 so all I need is some recognition to get started..

So I'm using an illegal copy? That's kinda scary.... So it"ll be alright if I buy the game right? Also, I was the one hosting the server, but I was lagging all the time. When I asked the other players, they said that they weren't laggin... Why is that.. Brw, where/how can I get/use Sight Jacker? Other than that, thnx so much for the lengthy explanations :).

Here's a link to download links of my uploaded HaloCE... If you could examine it that would be nice... {link removed by admin} Its 350 MB, so nobody has to do it.. I want to enjoy the game not be banned from it for some stuff I didn't do... Other than HaloCE, i never open any other .exe... The only other EXE i have is haloceded.exe and when I open it it says something about a profile patch. OK, so I've gotten HaloCE from a friend that told me it was a pretty good game. In the last year, I have been killed by some dude named "Guardians" who was never on the Player list. I thought it was just some admin or something cuz I said something stupid. Anyways, I was playing with a few guys on cmt_tensity and someone shouts out I have an aimbot. I ask him what it is and he jusay says its a "hack". I'm like how do I disable it, but everyone called me a Peace Hacker and left. I've googled around what an aimbot is... Is there a correlation between aimbot and "Guardians". How do I disable it... I sure don;'t want ppl pissedo off at me for cheating. |
