I just got a new monitor today, 18 inch widescreen, runs at 1360x768 resolution. However, when I launch Halo or Halo CE, simply shows the desktop. I closed Halo and it gave an exception (been ages since I've seen that window...)
Any ideas how to fix?

did you have it set to full screen by default? that might break it.. try adding the resolution extent on to the target in the short cut. (right click > properties > add the extension) it escapes my mind that the res extensions are atm..

Works, but looks absolutely terrible, perspective wise...

I'll get screenshots of what I mean.

It's still running it at usual aspect ratio rather than 16:9

Try using yelo. It has an option where it does something to the HUD. When you are in widescreen. Try yelo trainer.

A rare sight, indeed.

Halo Custom Edition doesn't support Widescreen, so you'll have to get the version changer and use Yelo in order to make it work like pwner5889 said.

You could also manually go into the map and change the HUD to flatten out to regular size when in widescreen, but then everyone would obviously need that map you have.
