Yes, this is relevant. I usually never post threads like this but this was bothering me alot.
I just got done watching the amazing 1993 movie- Demolition Man. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0106697/ Did the halo novels come out after this? Because it just seems kinda weird- The similarities that is. The main Characters name is John Spartan, he is also frozen in a cryotube. Now, obviously they have very very different plots, but is there any chance this is where chief got his name, or inspiration for the name. Now I never post threads like this so go easy. Well, John is a pretty common name, and the idea of cryotubes has been around for a long time. The Spartan part is wierd, and it certainely is a funny coincidence.

Unless there is something in MP3 cause I havn't played that, I really don't know where you got that from. I don't any similarities where it looks like ideas were taken from each game. And most of the ideas from Metriod Prime were taken from the earlier Metroid games. |
