It's already happening. You see how everyone's making h2/3 maps for CE, well look in the H2V section of the site. Everyone is remaking CE maps for H2. :|

I hope it will run XP but I'm glad I didn't buy h2v b\c there a player name Gunmonkey80 that my friend ran into today and told me he crashed 13 main server and crash all the players in every server at once and when you browse for game you'll see all server is empty but the good thing is I saw bungie playing H2V I just saw "bungie.net" and "bungie staff" :) but Gentlemen we are dealing with someone who have absolute no life :| and that guy is Gunmonkey80 thx god he don't have h1 or hce or i'll be piss off I'll buy my thug a ticket to knock him out same for that spammer from this forum which he don't come here no more thx dennis(i think)

also another reason your forgetting how Bungie just loves the number 7 so it would be a good excuse to put halo 3 on a pc called 7. it's all about getting the next best thing and getting money these days.

In general the people that Microsoft rely on for their income who make the decisions to purchase a new OS not only don't play video games but generally prevent them from being played on the systems that they make the decisions for. Corporations and businesses are the target market for operating systems and a video game is the absolutely last reason that they would decide to upgrade.

Halo CE wasn't XP exclusive.

If it would be realesed it wouldnt be 7 exclusive. Its in microsofts intrests to make money..And there for they will cover all three versions(Xp, Vista and 7)

Lots of people are still using xp. The way the economy is going now. I doubt anyone with a high school diploma will be able to afford windows 7.

And yet, many of them can afford to buy Xboxes, and pay for Xbox live subscriptions. You can afford Windows 7 Starter edition, but that isn't worth buying at all.

I am going to most likely get windows 7 when it comes out.. if I can figure out how to get all my files onto windows 7..

Not completely true Halo Reach is the last Halo game Bungie is making but Microsoft still has the rights to Halo so they could always make another game it just wouldn't be by Bungie.

There are only a few people who could do Halo right. You know who could do it the best? Bungie. Bungie knows everything about their game. If Microsoft makes a Halo game without Bungie, I can almost guarantee it will suck. Remember Halo Wars? I threw that POS away as soon as I beat it.

Although I have heard rumors they are remaking Marathon which could make sense since originally it got rushed and they technically didn't finish it when released.

Marathon's story takes place AFTER the Halo story does. Therefore, if Marathon IS Halo, then shouldn't Marathon be much more advanced?

Yeah see kinda my fault for not being more elaborate. I am not sure what Bungies next move will be because in interviews members of the bungie staff have said that they are working on a new seperate game series that does not involve Halo. But at the same time there are a ton of rumors on the internet saying that they are remaking marathon. I guess it comes down to Bungies perspective of whether or not Marathon is related to Halo in any way. My guess is that although yes its true Marathon is very similar and played into Halo( Bungie members have admitted this). Technically its not halo so it is possible they could be remaking it. Also to answer Gamma Bungie has said that they were rushed on the Deadline of Marathon and that it wasn't complete.

Now then . . . (oh look a new statment as a distraction) Someone should rip achievments and medals out of Halo 2 and use them in Halo CE multiplayer maps cause I want my headshot medal.

I meant the tech in the game. The weapons inside don't appear to be 200 years ahead of the ones in Halo.




All I can say is, I'm lost for words. This is wrong in 4 different ways.

nah microsoft would leave Bungie to die and use there rights to the Halo series To make more Halo games and hoard the money lol. Yeah Gamma I agree maybe thats one of the things they might do if they remake it.

Yeah kinda But I do think that Bungie probally wants to have some other projects I mean they don't want Halo to be ther only really good game.
