Please close any additional programs that may be running or increase your virtual memory settings. If you wish to add additional RAM, please contact your computer manufacturer for any necessary assistance. CAUSE AND POSSIBLE RESOLUTION Halo detects that there is not enough RAM to run properly. You will be offered a link to http://www.microsoft.com/games/halo/support.asp.Microsoft recommends: That you should contact your system manufacturer about adding enough RAM to the computer to meet or exceed Halo's box requirement of 128 MB. im a little insulted to tell you the truth i have the common sense to check google, and ive already looked at everyone of the links you have there and none of them helped me at all.

Whats your system spec? that is one high-end system you've got there.......... PS: back on topic. Maybe try scanning your comp for viruses and malware? They might be eating and screwing up your RAM to give you that error message. Update before you scan.

Yeah it is pretty nice :-) Decided to splurge one day last month when the latest copy of Custom PC arrived. It made my bank account sad tho, oh well!
I was concerned when Halo thought I had no ram, I was like there's 6gb you son of a b....
I thought for a second that it could have been the fact it was DDR3 ram or I was using 64 Bit.

Have you got the latest drives for your graphics card?
What are your Video settings in halo?

Turn off decals then try. Some Nvidia ones (8 and above I think) have problems with decals.

Ya every time I turn on decals with my 9800 gt it lags alot, dunno why. In the next patch(if theres gonna be any at all) they should fix up these errors with new computers. Also about the ram problem, I have 6 gig ram and it also says that but I ignore it and run the game with everything on highest except decals. So no need to worry.
