I have a couple of questions.
Question #1: How do you go about making a slip space jump scene. Like the one in Halo 2. Do i use 3ds max? or some other program? and how do i put it into my map?
Question #2: How do i put the "Halo 2 Backpack script into a single player map? I have tried to "test" it in a10 (or the Pillar of Autumn) and when i "compile scripts" in Sapien, it say all these errors. Most (if not all) of the errors are not at all related to the Halo 2 Backpack script. But to the "Recorded Animations" (like the cut scenes). Here's the odd part....all of the cut scenes are correctly referenced in the ".scenario" file. I have double checked and triple checked. But i can't get them to work. And after i click the "compile scripts" button in Sapien, the errors NEVER GO AWAY! The text just stays there. Blocking everything so that i can't edit the level at all. So here's what i am trying to get at: How do i fix the Recorded Animations errors and then how do i properly compile the Halo 2 backpack script?
Thanks

The backpack script is written for multiplayer. You'll have to rewrite it. It's rather simple actually. Just delete any part that uses "plyrnum", and replace it with 0. Then, replace your player biped with the cyborg biped with multiple permutations.

Ok..thanks. but that only answers half of my question...What about the "recorded animation" errors when i try to compile the scripts? and what about making the "Slip Space Jump" scene like in Halo 2? So can someone please answer those questions?
Thanks
Edit: Is anyone going to answer my questions? I need some help with these issues. Is anyone going going to give me a hand? Edited by videoman on Jul 22, 2009 at 04:09 PM
