how do I extract custom weapons using hek plus because every time I choose extract it extracts the tags but I can never find them in the tags folder so I must be doing it wrong.

Don't custom weapons use item collections?

Are you just looking for them in windows explorer? Or are you looking for them in sapien or guerrila?

I looked in tags/weapons,tags,sapien,and everywhere else on earth

Not all custom weapons are in the weapons folder. Check what folder they're in through HEK+. Also, before you extract, click the yellow gear thing on the far right. Then, click "Use Registry". Click Ok.

Then extract it. That'll extract it to the right place. Also, before you extract, see all those folders? That's where the weapons are. So check the weapons folder, and see if you see anything different.

kay I clicked used registry, dragged the brute plasma rifle from hayabusa ruined to the tag list,unclicked the save extracted tag list, and then pressed start,and after that it said tags extracted,so I went to the tags/weapon folder,and it wasn't there.now what

It's in the tags\halo2\weapons folder, smart one.
