A friend of mine e-mailed me an .obj of a battle rifle he was working on; however when i zoom in the model disappears. When I render the scene i can see it just fine tho. Any way to fix this??

It might be corupted. Try having him resend the .obj file.

Scale it about 5000% times larger. It's too small.

Yeah highlight the entire object and use the scale tool and make in alot! bigger that way when u get close the objects parts to dissappear

.OBJ files tend to import far too small.
