I can start it up but when I try to open a file I get this poop:
Executable 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition\kornman00v20_release.exe' had the following unrecoverable error"
Couldn't find library MSVCP80.dll (required by C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\ccVrTrst.dll)
Even though I have that .dll in the directory :\

okay, open notepad.

then put

rename "C:\Program Files\OpenOffice.org 3\Basis\program\shlxthdl\shlxthdl.dll" tempname.dll
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft games\Halo Custom Edition\kornman00v20_release.exe"
rename "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\tempname.dll" ccVrTrst.dll

name it kornmanv2.bat and save it as all files. :)

Ok, I don't have OpenOffice.org 3, so I don't have that .dll and I can't create the directory either because there is a "."

Ok, when I run the bat I get this:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition>rename "C:\Program Files\Co
mmon Files\Symantec Shared\ccVrTrst.dll" tempname.dll
Access is denied.

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition>"C:\Program Files\Microsoft
games\Halo Custom Edition\kornman00v20_release.exe"

Run the bat as admin, if you can. I don't know if that's possible or not.

No, there's no option to run as admin.
Maybe someone with a working kornman v2 can tell me how they did it?

I have a similar problem, and Google turned up the reason, but not a solution. My Kornmann says that it's missing a file in use by Microsoft Office. According to Google, the application searches every folder except for the Halo folder for the dll. I fixed it by moving the entire Microsoft Office folder to my desktop, and running Kornmann. However, this is hardly practical, especially during a school year, so I had to minimize use of Kornmann.

I just deleted the groove dll file lol

Anyways, when kornman says it cant find something, its quite the oposite; it means it CAN find that file, and thats an issue for it; manualy rename the file for now, see if it causes any difficulties, if so, then you can just rename it during use of kornman, and if no issues, you can just leave it renamed untill you acualy do find an issue
