well, when I try to export a model in gmax with the jms exporter script, it always freezes for a minute, then says --runtime error: Out of scripter memory -Use options to increase. ???

hence the error, you must use options to increase the memory. Go to customize, then preferences, then under the MAXscript tab, increase the "initial heap allocation" to 500 or whatever.

That will only work if his map is really big. There is another reason why this error is caused. Using a small map even will cause the error. I had this problem before but don't remember why. Edited by goyanks135 on Jun 26, 2009 at 01:06 AM

Yeah I use 3ds max and gmax Hey look there's just some things gmax cant handle it just all depends on what your trying to do u just mave have to use 3ds max Sorry :(
