Hi guys,
I like to know how to convert a worked scenario into a map file so that i can play it on MP Lan.. I read that it can be done with the program "tool" but somehow i can't open it. Sure i also read that i have to use the command propt or somethin like that but i dont know how to use it, so maybe you can explain me how to do it? I want to convert my worked out scenarion into a map file.

You just overwrote bloodgulch, load it up to see your changes. You probably should have renamed the scenario...

Tool automatically put its in the map folder for you. That's just the information about the map, if you were to get any errors it would say it there. Start up Halo CE, and it should be there.

Alright. The tool syntax looks correct. In Sapien, select your encounter. Take a screenshot of what the properties pane shows, and show that to me.

it doesnt work, nothing happens if i run halo custom edition and open devmode by "^" and type it in "map_name a50" nothing happens... and what do you mean by compile? I see that many people uploaded maps which has to be extracted to the map folder of halo... Do you mean that? But how can I do it, i use tool++ to play edited MP-Maps with AI, it works but the map file isnt in the map folder. Can you tell me where it is? Becuz I want to delete some maps that I edited too but I can't.

Your map isn't a50, that was just an example.
If your on Vista check your compadability files in the maps folder.

Your example was a10. I believe he wants to modify the Truth and Reconciliation, which is a50. Here's a checklist to make sure everything was done correctly.
1) Open scenario in sapien to make sure you have all the tags. 2) Compile the level again through tool / tool++. For tool++, select "build-cache-file", and select levels\a50\a50. 3) Wait for tool to complete, and look for the text "successfully built cache file". 4) Start up Halo, and try it.

Hi there, sorry that I answer so late but I was busy since the last days, well I can't open the scenario a50 in sapien, dont know why so I tried to modify it with kornman, but still it doesnt work, if I start Halo CE and do it with devmode... Dont know where the problem is but according to your steps, my problem would be that I can't open a50 in sapien. But by the way, look I edited some MP Maps like bloodgulch in sapien and so on but I saved it with another name like "top serious". Then I ran tool++ and made build-cache-file.. ok it works I can play it in Halo CE.. but now I want to delete it... And i have no idea to do it...

Go to your maps folder, and delete the scenario. As for not being able to open it, you most likely are missing tags, or something is corrupted.
