When rigging, vertexes have to be rigged to the bone, or else they get let behind when the bone moves, much like you're seeing that. Every vertex needs to be rigged. Edited by Marka Haiyana on May 31, 2009 at 03:44 PM

what. the hell. are you doing...
why in gods name would you rig an fp weapon if it doesnt have to deform? and why would you use that envelope editor? do i have to go make a tutorial to show you guys the proper way to do this?

alright, let me open max and get one of my max scenes open. E: video is around 13 minutes long and 1.24 gigs. sooooo.... filefront? youre right, it does. that is what i usually do for gameplay videos, but this is in max. when i upload the recording in the original format rather than re-compressing in windows movie maker, it gives the viewer the option to watch the video in HD on youtube, so they can actually read the text next to the buttons i press. the video is 13 minutes long though so im going to have to crop it, or redo it and take less time
