If you see this, you must be in an old topic

Its not the UI problem.
You have to manually load the maps if you want to use the save slots.

1) Run from the Console.

To run these levels from the console you first need to have your console enabled. see this article for details on changing your start up Icon to enable the console.

Start Halo CE

When you get to screen where you select the "Multiplayer" selection option hit your Tilde [~] Key to bring up the console

In the game console type: map_name {name of map} then hit return. Example to run the desertplat.map level type "map_name desertplat" or to run the Halo Level "map_name a30"

And here is the campaign list

* Single Player A10 Level - The Pillar of Autumn
* Single Player A30 Level - Halo
* Single Player A50 Level - Truth and Reconciliation
* Single Player B30 Level - The Silent Cartographer
* Single Player B40 Level - Assault on the Control Room
* Single Player C10 Level - 343 Guilty Spark
* Single Player C20 Level - The Library
* Single Player C40 Level - Two Betrayals
* Single Player D20 Level - Keyes
* Single Player D40 Level - The Maw

So if you wanted "Keyes for example"
You would do map_name d40 in console

To enable console http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?nid=319
Just ignore the screenies part

If you download Renamon's adaption of the original campaign maps, they don't have that problem. I personally prefer the original campaign to SPv1. Far less lag.

That is most likely an Nvidia issue. ATI cards run decals fine but Nvidia has problems and lowers FPS.

Does this issue happen even the card has high memory? (512mb, 1g, etc)

Because on my XP I can run everything set to high with no lag, even decals in spv1
But in windows 7, I have to set everything low.

On Windows Vista and 7, I can run Halo on highest, with decals on, and maintain around 60 fps.

my card varies:

In XP, my card is 512 mb

In vista and 7, 256 mb.

Same card for all three. It's wierd :/

I have an NVIDIA 8600, and it works perfectly fine on Vista and 7. I don't know why people tell me to turn off decals.

It's the NVIDIA 7 series that has the problem, everyone else needs to get their facts strait.
