Alright, I've seen this in a lot of games, and I just wanted to know if it would be possible with halo ce. So, lets say you're playing CTF on bloodgulch. You're in a warthog and get out to get the flag. Someone is in there being a camping ass with the shotgun. You kill him, but sustain damage. You could do the following: A. Make a break for it in the warthog (fat chance you ACTUALLY make it) B. Go onto the top of the enemy base and try to get the health pack (providing it's even there.) Both these options are very risky. So, to get down to the point, I had an Idea for a scenario like this: A Health Pack .weapon tag. Just like any other weapon, but does what a normal health pack would. Is this possible? and If it is, could you use it on other teammates?

Maybe you could make a gun that spawns Health Packs?

It's a good idea, but I think that kind of thing should be reserved for class based games where there is a medic, because in Halo, people would use it in the middle of firefights, and it would get boring over time, and most likely have a negative effect on gameplay.

How about a script like Poolamee's, where you click q and it spawns a health pack on you.

That could work, if it was used like the flashlight and just had a really long recharge time

or you can just make a weapon which projectiles spawn a health pack on detonation.. that would work on friends and enemys. I forget if that would sync though.

The weapon could instead have limited ammo, thus you would need to grab more health packs (I think you could pick up more if your health is full) I'll work on this and see if it'll work.

Quote: --- Original message by: Lord_Lelouch Why not take something like the UT4 weapon that for close range combat (from one of them ut4 weapon conversion maps) and use it to make a health pack and just have it overheat after one shot and take like 2 mins to cooldown? UT4? I thought UT3 was the newest one...
