The whole process is wrong. You have SO MUCH space, scale all of that so it is evenly spaced between hardly an space at all. (Use you're space right) The larger the uvs are, the more detail you can add.

also it doesnt have to be the same dimensions. it looks like its long but not very wide, so just make it like 2048x512. you can do that

I opened up the max and terrain and model looked like, terminal except a bunch of faces missing everywhere, including the terrain..

I know a riped h2 terminal model when I see one! Not that you should be doing this but if your gona do it do it right and rerip the missing parts!

You guys are stupid. I deleted 90% of it because you didn't need it. It made the model download size smaller, and also got rid of things you didn't need. Of course i have the entire map ripped.  - rendered before i fixed ground uvw's

Nice job! You know I am starting to like you more and more now. You can actually rip maps without making them look like a epic phail. Nice rip :D! Can't wait till it's released, if it's released. (hopes it's released!)
