By default, I think only "Silent Cartographer" works. You can get 343 Guilty spark and the library to work if you have a fixed monitor animation tag, because the one it extracts doesn't work. I'm currently looking for a copy of said tag.
All other levels will pretty much never work. I've vaguely heard rumors that you can delete everything in them in guerilla and then you can open them in sapien, but that's kind of pointless. You can also try downloading them of halomaps and extracting those.

If anyone DOES know how to get every campaign mission in sapien, please TELL US!

Wait, what? I've gotten most to work. a10 for one, also a30 and b30 and I think d40. I did something to a50 though and corrupted it >.>

I've gotten them to work. Some shaders get kind of fuxed up in the process, so I've had to reinstall HEK numerous times to fix that.

Extract from Renamons. Attempt to open. Extract missing tags from Halo PC. Attempt to open. Extract from Renamons again. Open. Look at the fuxed up shaders. Reinstall HEK. Open scenario.

Download all the tags SP tags off halomaps so you never get this error in the first place?

I tried the tags packs last time and got tons of errors. Extracting from all the sp levels recursivly works well, with the only drawback being you can't open the scenario tags.
What about downloading and extracting the sp levels for custom edition?

Hey Gamma927... you are wrong about extracting the tags for "Renamon's maps". the reason why is becuase it still gives me the same debug error:

I think i am now understanding why i can't open the maps in "Sapein". What i have noticed is that there is a curtain line that comes up in everyone of the debugs i am receiving. Can anyone here guess? Well to tell you the truth, it's the VERY last line of the debug. It says:

"EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION"

I keep getting this every time i try to open a map. and for what Gamma927 was saying about the "Renamon's Single Player maps" They don't work! So i highly recamend that you dont bother and waste you time downloading the maps and then trying to open them. and one more thing Gamma927: Fou really need to find the right resources and then test them to make sure they are any good, before telling people about them and telling those people that they DO work.

lol. Is that why the downloads for all renamons maps were so slow? Looks like we both waisted our time.

Or maybe they were slow bacause I had hek re-extracting all the pc maps.

Did you set overwrite on? This is how I did it, and it worked. I just keep repeating my method. Apparently, one of your tags is corrupted, and you need to overwrite that tag. To do that, you must rip from a map that has that tag, aka Renamons.

You download the map, the extract it.
I've downloaded all of renamons maps and extracted them recursivly to a speperate new tags folder (outside the halo ce directory). I'm going to make similar tags folder from extracting the Halo p maps and the halo ce maps, then make a default HEK tags folder. Hopefully some combination of the four sources will work.

Hey Gamma927! You really need to get your facts in line because "Renamon's Single Player maps" They still don't work! i backed up my Tags in the directory (just in case) and then overwrote them and guess what?! THEY STILL DON'T WORK!! I am telling you all Bungie/Microsoft must have written a Encryption code for the campaign maps. even though they do not have the "Protected" label on them in Halo Editing Kit Plus. and i am sure of this because i have seen on many other forums that people are saying that the ARE "protected" and that you can not use them in Sapien. So i think (even though i don't want to) that this topic kinda useless. OH and by the way if you are going that the CMT Team way able to extract the maps... then you wrong Because:
1. I have read on there "Homepage" that they (for the most Part) rebuilt the campaign maps (almost completely)
2. They might have extracted some of the maps and used them, but that have some "Leading" Halo CE Modders, so that means that can make programs that are compatible with the campaign maps making them able to modify the maps.

But like i said before I REALLY don't want this "Topic" the die, but on the other hand this topic is making no progress.

red contradicts blue. >_> in the fact that, you need to get your facts right, no i am not 100% sure, but i can open most of them (that Ive tryed) and why would you be given the programs to use them, when they are purposely protected form doing so? so :/

I myself have downloaded Renamon's maps, extracted, and they work perfectly fine, videoman. So before you speak, remember you are speaking as one person, not as everyone. Just your experiences do not match all of ours.
The only problem I had with Renamon's maps is that they included absolutely no scripts, so I'd have to re-create every single script. Um... no.

Alright. First of all, my facts are straight. I know that I have extracted everything EXCEPT THE GLOBALS, and certain weapon tags, and the scenario opens for me. Maybe you should think straight, before you say that "my facts are out of line". As for you saying that CMT rebuilt their maps, they extracted it from the campaign maps. However, they built new areas into the campaign. Also, your second point is completely false, because the "leading" modders extracted the campaign themselves. Why else would Zteam put up scripts pertaining to the campaign, using the exact same names as the ones Bungie made?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wIkWqkeEkUA

I made this by modifying the campaign scenarios that I extracted from Renamon's maps. Next time, before you go shooting off your mouth, make sure you at least know what you're talking about, because the "facts" that you showed me, are obviously wrong. I sense the irony here.

Ha Ha Ha.... Hey Sorry for Being "Out of Place" and completely "Rude". It is just kinda Frustating when a stupid thing like Sapien does not work, you know what i mean? I did not mean to come across like a total jerk or anything like that but... Your right i was completely off on my side and my facts. It hurts to say this but... Can you all forgive me? I should have not over reacted and made false accusations. And i know Dennis is watching everyone of us and i know this forum is not meant for have senseless arguments of ridicules issues, so... Like i siad before: I am Truly and sincerely sorry for my actions.

Now on to the real issue... I have tried over righting all the files in the tag folder (after i backed it up of course) but i did not overwrite the "Globals" folder and it still did not work. Can someone please explain what i my be doing wrong? and make a Step by Step tutorial on how to do this all correct?

Thanks

You're forgiven. : )

Now, tomarro I'm going to move my current tags folder to a different location, reinstall hek (thus isolating the hek default tags), then combinging that with the tags directory i extracted from renamon's maps and the halo ce mp maps, and or the tags directory from extracting all halo pc maps. If anything i try works, I'll be sure to tell you here. But right now i have to go. Good night. By the time you read this it'l be tomarro anyway.

one way or another, we shall figure this thing out once and for all!

By golly it worked!
I have successfully opened every campaign mission
Here's what I did:
1: Dowloaded and extracted all renamon's regular Halo ce sp maps, along with the dfault mp maps, to a seperate tags folder outside the halo ce directory, all recursivly, with rewrite.
2: Re-installed HEK and copied the default tags directoty it insalled to a seperate location.
3: copied the extracted renamon map tags folder to Halo ce directory, thus adding it to tags directory.
4: copying that also rewrote some original hek tags, so i copied the copoed hek default tags back to restore those.
5: opened all the scenarios with ahobo downloaded from here: http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=2031

and every map is now openable and works, except for ui wich has some problems. I didn't even need fixed monitor animation tags or anything.

So, a shorter version of the above steps which should end up with the same thing...
1: install hek.
2: download renamons regular halo ce sp maps
3: extract those maps with hek recursivly, but WITHOUGHT rewrite.
4: enjoy.

Thank you renamon whoever you are!

Hope this helps everyone.

Hey Vick Jr.... That trick may work for you but not for all of us. apparently what i am hearing from one of my sources is that when you go and extract some of the tags some get "corrupted". the only levels that i have gotten to work are levels WITHOUT the Scorpion and the Monitor tags. for some strange reason the levels with these curtain tags don't work. i don't know why yet, but from what i have heard, when you extract these curtain levels the Scorpion and the Monitor tags get corrupted in the process. Like i said i can't tell why. but i will find out here soon. When i try to load the levels in sapien i am still getting the following debug:

Yes, I know of corrupted tags you're talking about. Before this tags extract (when I was using tags from the halo pc levels),I needed the fixed monitor animation tag from an xfire friend before I could open 343 gs or the library.
But, when I extracted those tags from renamons maps, they seem to work with no problem.
So I think that when you extract from halo pc sp levels, they get corrupted, but not from renaomn's sp maps.
If you didn't have tag overwrite on (and you probaby shouldn't unless your extracting specifit tags you want), then extracting from renaoms maps wouldn't have helped fixed these corrupted tags if you had already gotten them from somewhere else. I suggest extracting the specific corrupted tags fron renamon's maps.

Also, the EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION does not come from corrupted tags, though you might still have them. It's just sapien complaining that it thinks your trying to open a map that you shouldn't have access to. I don't know why you get it when opening maps extracted from halo pc, but I haven't gotten in on any map from tags extracted from renamons maps.

Another suggestion if these problems continue even if you followed those steps in my above post is to make sure you have the latest version og hek and all its plugins. Don't know if it'l help, but it might.

To recap, those spteps are:
1: back up any of your custom tags that are important yo you.
2: delete your tags directory
3: uninstall hek
4: re-install hek
5: download all of renamons single player levels for halo ce. The ones that are all names imilarly.
6: In HEK+, Open all the maps, and drag all their folders to the tag extraction que. Click the "rec' checkbox to the left of every folder (just highlight them all with a mouse selection box and click one of the checkboxes, and it will check them all)
7: look at your tag extraction settings and make sure that tag overwrite is NOT on.
8: Extract to your halo ce tags directory.

If you STILL need the fixed monitor and tank anim tags, i may be able to upload mine to halomaps, since they seem to work.
What are the specific tags again?

Good luck!
