Hi. Sorry if my post is a little long, but I need help, seriously.

I am trying to add some new vehicles and weapons to the chronopolis map, and so far, everything other than the weapons and vehicles are fine. For some reason.....

1. When i added a missile turret into the map, Guerrila confirmed that i had added the tag in the map. It also appeared in sapien when i added it. However, after compiling the map in tool and playing it in halo, i found that the turret's message is "Press E to enter gunner seat of Warthog" even though it is OBVIOUSLY not one.

2. I added a wasp into the map too. Guerilla and Sapien did exactly the same as the above scenario, but this time after compiling the map, the wasp did not appear in Halo.

Now, i am limited to adding the original weapons and vehicles that came with halo. Can someone please help?

The fisrt one is suposted to be like that becasue its related to a warthog turret OK but, I don't know about the second one though.

I checked the tags for the wasp, and indeed its weapon is related to the warthog's gun. However, is there really no choice but to leave the naming at that? I mean, why can't i change it to"Press E to enter Wasp" ?

You can. It requires string list editing. And to answer your question about the wasp. You must replace a vehicle in your globals.globals tag. There can only be six vehicles, so one of them must be replaced. Same goes for the missile warthog. To edit that, open the globals.globals tag up in Guerilla, scroll down to Multiplayer Vehicle List, and select a few certain vehicles, and redirect the tag to the one you want.

or you can script in more vehicles, but that doesn't look very good.

The fact is, i do not want to edit the vehicles section in the globals.globals tag, as if i have to use the generic vehicles afterwards, i would have to edit it again. Also, i am going to use more than 6 types of custom vehicles, so editing the globals tag is not feasible. Anyway, i tried scripting the vehicles in, and they appeared, but still with the seat problem. Here's the script.....

(object_create_anew mp_hog1)
(object_create_anew banshee1)
(object_create_anew tow_1) <-anything that starts with tow is the missile turret.
(object_create_anew tow_2)
(object_create_anew tow_3)
(object_create_anew tow_4)

(object_create_anew tow_6)
(object_create_anew wasp_1)
(object_create_anew banshee2)
(object_create_anew scorp_1)
(object_create_anew wasp_2) <-anything that starts with wasp is.....well you know.

Any idea how to change the seat name? Like an example of a string editor (or a string of this kind)?

PS additional question: How do you add custom weapons, like the H2 SMG into a map? Tried editing netgame equipment, and even though Sapien shows the custom weapon, the H2 SMG is replaced by the generic AR after compilation.
