My stupid tool isnt doing my custom map!!! I do the build cache file and it says:
04.18.09 14:27:22 tool pc 01.00.00.0609 ---------------------------------------------- 04.18.09 14:27:22 reference function: _write_to_error_file 04.18.09 14:27:22 reference address: 42ca20 04.18.09 14:27:22 Couldn't read map file './toolbeta.map' And i keep doing the cmd.exe(from my halo directory since tool doesnt work) build-cache-file levels\test\bloodgulch\Cold Skirmish.scenario And it doesnt make my map. take off the .scenario.... and also, if your are using Vista, the reason it wont show in your Halo CE maps folder is because it is in compatibility files... if that's not the problem Idk what is...

Use tool++ to compile scenario files. I use this because I keep forgetting the command to build the map file in reg tool :\

Or use quotes. I personally hate tool++. It's just easier to memorize the most common commands for tool.

Only for compiling cache files. It won't do anything else, at least for me, like compiling bitmaps, or hud messages.
