I had this same problem on one other map, but the floor was blue in that map, so all I had to do was change it to a white bitmap, which (in the case of that map) was no biggy.
This new map however isn't really flexible in what bitmaps I can have as the ground, since it's a replica.
One thing I'll point out is that the bitmap has a mask in it so that I can assign 1 detail map to the broken up path, and a different one to the dirt. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.
