Well, us, the PÕQ clan have got permission from Tiamat, the creator of Coldsnap to edit it.
However, how would i go about getting the file which i can use to edit to modelling in 3ds Max?
Thanks

Actually there is a easier way. Rip the map with HEK+, use firesythes bsp tag converter, open the bsp in the tag converted, convert it, and the .obj file will be in your data/levels folder and you can import the .obj in 3DS Max or Gmax.

Greenfuzz, i tried that long ago but my materials are screwed up. They aren't in multi/subobject form and I have to use guess and check to apply them to the bsp. My .mtl is right though... Got a solution for that? Thanks.

Yes it works for me, it's always cause I included portals in the map and I get all these black lines going everywhere. But the textures from the multi sub object will be in the data/levers section

But the textures from the multi sub object will be in the data/levers section No, i mean that in 3dsmax when you go in material editor(m), i have to convert it to multi/subobject and apply the textures myself. Anyway to fix that?
