I am trying to figure out how i can make it so my map won't let you go any farther, but if you get to the edge, you don't just see the world drop off, am i able to extend mesh outside the map box so they just see the land continue?

i dont think you can, but you can add cliffs or mountains so it isn't just flat..

yes, you can. you have to clip the map, see the official HEK tutorial, level creation part 2

There is an easer way. Say you whant to make an extent to a grass field. make a seperate material called "grass!" and set everything in it the same as in the original materiel "grass". Any materiel with the ! symbole at the end is render only, so it can have open edges and does not have to conforme to the sealed world rule.
