ok heres the thing. me and friend have the same map and we wanted to play together on that map how do i get it setup so we can both play the same map as if it were regular halo. please someone help

That's for dedicated servers.
Here's the easy version: Put the map into the maps folder (both of you) Open Halo. One of you go to Multiplayer > Host > Internet Game. Scroll all the way down, and the map will appear in the maps list. Select the map, select a gametype, and click Start. Then, have the other person go to Join > Internet Game. In the games lobby, find your server, and join it. |

it keeps retrying and then wont log into map.

ok this is telling me to be greedy and i cant be mostly because of the fact that i am forced to share my network connection. but i guess ill give it a shot thanks. also the fact that i am using a wireless router hooked into my cable modem. so im kinda lost in all this... ill look at it in the morning when im more alert.
